The programme is currently not offering payment for trained facilitators to deliver Pentathlon sessions unless your employer is keen for you to deliver Pentathlon sessions as part of your job (e.g., PCN Health and Wellbeing Coach) or if you have been commissioned to deliver Pentathlon sessions.
Yes, if you have joined as a member. Handouts are available on the website. These can be used virtually or printed.
Overall, the order does not matter. However, we usually opt for the following order:
Eat Well to Stay Well
Fantastic Fibre and Your Little Friends
The Wellbeing Low Down
Sleep is Our Superhero
I Like to Move it, Move it.
These 5 sessions can be delivered together or as one off 'stand alone' sessions or anywhere in between. It's completely up to you! We would recommend a minimum of one session per month and most programmes have been doing once a week or twice a week sessions. Remember it is not written as a behaviour change programme, but for information and awareness.
Pentathlon consistent of general health and wellbeing advice and doesn’t substitute or override any medical/clinical information you have been given by your healthcare professionals.
Unfortunately, no. Pentathlon was made to be delivered by facilitators, and as such the handouts and slides cannot be sent out to people who cannot attend the sessions either virtually or face to face.
Certificates will be provided for all facilitators upon completion of training.
This depends on the individual and is flexible. Ideally, we would suggest at least once a month. If you prefer to deliver more frequently, then wonderful!
We understand that life can get in the way, and attending every session isn’t always possible. If you miss one session, you’ll have the opportunity to catch up midway through the programme when full resources are made available to the cohort. However, during the first five weeks, if you miss two sessions, we recommend joining the next training cohort, as it may be difficult to catch up on the material.
